Three Stars of the Night

If you’re going to spend up, these are our favorite targets on the night:

• Max Pacioretty – MON – W – ($6700 DK/$7200 FD) – Averaging over 6 shots/game over the last 5 facing a team that gives up 3.6 goals/game on the road.

• Vladimir Tarasenko – STL – W- ($7600 DK/$8400 FD) – Tarasenko has so much upside and has been averaging almost 6 shots/game and almost a goal/game. Edmonton played well the other night, but St Louis is one of the best teams in the league and Edmonton has been giving up 3.7 goals/game at home.

• Brent Burns - SJ – D – ($6800 DK/$6900 FD) – Burns isn’t usually this cheap. He hasn’t been putting up big fantasy numbers, but he still throws the puck at net more than most D on the slate tonight and gets a ton of minutes.

Line Stacks

• OTT – Hoffman-Brassard-Stone ($18800 DK/$18500 FD) – On their own, each of those players deserve spots on your lineups. Together, they’re our favorite on the night

• VAN – Baertschi-Horvat-Boeser ($13700 DK/$15300 FD) – Went back and forth between this line and the MacKinnon line for the value stack of the night. Take your pick but this is ours.

• NJ – Hall-Hischier-Palmieri – ($17600 DK/$18500 FD) – Toronto is on the road and still without Matthews tonight. Andersen has been giving up 3.6 goals/game on the road and I think NJ is in a great spot.

• SJ - Couture-Hertl-Karlsson ($14100 DK/$15400 FD) - This stack is in a great position to beat up on the poor Florida defense. Couture has been shooting the puck at a rapid pace and there's no reason that should stop tonight. Consider locking this trio in for your late night hammer special.

The Risk-It-For-The-Biscuit Stack:

PHI – Giroux-Couturier-Voracek ($18900 DK/$21100 FD) – Expensive, and facing Hellebuyck, who has been outstanding. However, this line is very talented and will go overlooked on this slate.

Top Shelf Plays

You can assume on most nights that players like Kucherov and Erik Karlsson are in play. There’s no need to list them here. What we’re trying to provide is a list of players at the top, middle, and value salary tiers that you should consider in your lineup based on their line, power play time, shots on goal, or consistency over the past month.
