Tonight's Slate

Here's numbers on the teams from their past 10 games. Generally, I start my research by looking for teams in good spots. For example, teams that score goals (GF60) that are facing teams that give up goals (GA60). I also look at teams that shoot a lot (CF60) that are facing teams that give up a lot of shots (CA60).

Line Stacks

Favorite stack of the night:

Buffalo is allowing 3.8 goals a game over their last 10, so I think NYI deservers consideration tonight. My favorite stack for the Islanders is the second line. They're cheap too, so you should be able to stack them with a top-tier line like Pittsburgh or Boston without having to stretch salary too much. :

Carolina is a "stack every night" team for me. Tonight, I'm going to be a little contrarian and go after the second line.

Biscuit Stack

Here's a talented line that probably goes overlooked tonight. Not a great matchup, but maybe Carolina doesn't suit up tonight and the Hawks go off.

Goaltender Rankings

How to Read This: 

I'm giving you a comparison of LineStar projections vs the average fantasy points scored over their last 10 games. I've also given you their save percentage (over 0.910 is ideal), goals allowed (lower is better), saves per game (more is better), GAA (Goals Saved Above Average), and my projected upside for each goalie.

Generally, if I'm stacking a team, I'll correlate a goalie if I can. In GPPs, I may not have the salary to make this work. In this case, I usually spend down on someone that I expect will take a lot of shots and could pick up the W.

As always - double-check that your goalie is starting before the game starts.

GPP: Michael Houser - BUF (DK: $6500, FD: $6500)

Forwards and Defensemen Rankings

Here are my overall rankings on the top 15 skaters on the main slate. These are players that I would look to insert into my lineups as one-offs or lineup fillers if I'm stacking or double-stacking lines.

My Favorites

Sebastian Aho - CAR - DK: $7200 | FD: $7900

Carolina has a great matchup tonight, so I would try to get as much Carolina into my lineups as I can - whether that be stacks or one-offs

Rasmus Dahlin - BUF - DK: $5000 | FD: $4300

Great price for a L1 PP1 defenseman.

Dominic Kubalik - CHI - DK: $5400 | FD: $4600

Shared my love for CHI2 earlier, and Kubalik is my favorite one-off from that stack.

Travis Konecny - PHI - DK: $4300 | FD: $5000

I have some weird interest in Philly tonight, and Konecny is a cheap top line, top power play unit skater.

Bottom of the Barrel

Here are my cheap calls for a skater to pick up a goal or assist.

Sean Kuraly: BOS - C - DK: $2600 | FD: $3100

Jesper Fast: CAR - W - DK: $2500 | FD: $3500

Brady Skjei: CAR - D - DK: $3100 | FD: $3800
