Welcome to the NHL Hat Trick.
ICYMI - The NHL Season Preview & Strategy guide goes over the basics of NHL DFS and what I look for when researching players.
It's May and we get one of the biggest, if not the biggest, slate of the year. 14 games on tap, so again, I don't worry too much about ownership and just focus on good plays.
LETSSSSSSSSSSGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tonight's Slate
Here's numbers on the teams from their past 10 games. Generally, I start my research by looking for teams in good spots. For example, teams that score goals (GF60) that are facing teams that give up goals (GA60). I also look at teams that shoot a lot (CF60) that are facing teams that give up a lot of shots (CA60).

Line Stacks
Top-ranked stack of the night:

My favorite "alternative to COL1" stacks:

Continuing down the list, the top two lines for Carolina are next in my rankings. Carolina is one of the best teams this season and they face a Chicago team that is allowing 3.8 goals/game over their last 10.

Biscuit Stack
It's Monday, but love Forsberg and Nashville1 against the Jackets tonight. Columbus has not been playing well and have been allowing 3.5 goals a game over their last 10.

Goaltender Rankings
How to Read This:
I'm giving you a comparison of LineStar projections vs the average fantasy points scored over their last 10 games. I've also given you their save percentage (over 0.910 is ideal), goals allowed (lower is better), saves per game (more is better), GAA (Goals Saved Above Average), and my projected upside for each goalie.
Generally, if I'm stacking a team, I'll correlate a goalie if I can. In GPPs, I may not have the salary to make this work. In this case, I usually spend down on someone that I expect will take a lot of shots and could pick up the W.

As always - double-check that your goalie is starting before the game starts.
My Favorites:
CASH: Semyon Varlamov - NYI (DK: $8500, FD: $7900)
GPP: Mike Smith - EDM (DK: $7900, FD: $8000)
Forwards and Defensemen Rankings
Here are my overall rankings on the top 15 skaters on the main slate. These are players that I would look to insert into my lineups as one-offs or lineup fillers if I'm stacking or double-stacking lines.

My Favorites
Connor McDavid - EDM - DK: $9100 | FD: $9300
There's a lot of value and mid-priced guys on the slate that I think McDavid is the only person I'd spend up for as a one-off tonight.
Anthony Beauvillier - NYI - DK: $4400 | FD: $4900
Great matchup and reasonable price.
Kirill Kaprizov - MIN - DK: $6400 | FD: $6500
Favorite mid-tier priced forward to play as a one-off.
Thomas Chabot - OTT - DK: $5600 | FD: $5100
I have some weird interest in Ottawa tonight, so if you're going to stack OTT, I would consider including Chabot with your Ottawa stacks.
Owen Tippett - OTT - DK: $3000 | FD: $3000
Cheap punt on a solid line with PP2 exposure.
Bottom of the Barrel
Here are my cheap calls for a skater to pick up a goal or assist.
Joel Eriksson Ek: MIN - C - DK: $3000 | FD: $3000
Cole Caufield: MON - W - DK: $3900 | FD: $3100
Brady Skjei: CAR - D - DK: $3000 | FD: $3700
