Welcome to the NHL Hat Trick.
ICYMI - The NHL Season Preview & Strategy guide goes over the basics of NHL DFS and what I look for when researching players.
4-games tonight to close the week. Let's dive in!
LETSSSSSSSSSSGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tonight's Slate
Here's numbers on the teams from their past 10 games. Generally, I start my research by looking for teams in good spots. For example, teams that score goals (GF60) that are facing teams that give up goals (GA60). I also look at teams that shoot a lot (CF60) that are facing teams that give up a lot of shots (CA60).

Line Stacks
Captain Obvious stack of the night:

My favorite "alternative to COL1" stack:

Favorite stacks to pair with VGK1 or COL1:

Biscuit Stack
Ducks. Why not? The Kings are allowing 3.3 goals a game and the ducks are bottom priced. ANH1 would be my preference, but I don't hate ANH2.

Goaltender Rankings
How to Read This:
I'm giving you a comparison of LineStar projections vs the average fantasy points scored over their last 10 games. I've also given you their save percentage (over 0.910 is ideal), goals allowed (lower is better), saves per game (more is better), GAA (Goals Saved Above Average), and my projected upside for each goalie.
Generally, if I'm stacking a team, I'll correlate a goalie if I can. In GPPs, I may not have the salary to make this work. In this case, I usually spend down on someone that I expect will take a lot of shots and could pick up the W.

As always - double-check that your goalie is starting before the game starts.
My Favorites:
CASH: Marc-Andre Fleury - VGK (DK: $8300, FD: $8700)
GPP: John Gibson (or whoever starts for ANH) (DK: $7400, FD: $6600)
Forwards and Defensemen Rankings
Here are my overall rankings on the top 15 skaters on the main slate. These are players that I would look to insert into my lineups as one-offs or lineup fillers if I'm stacking or double-stacking lines.

My Favorites
Vegas and Colorado one-offs
I double-stack teams in each lineup, generally with a 3-3 or 4-3 stack. I allow up to one defenseman in each stack so that usually opens a forward or UTIL position. If I'm stacking teams outside of Colorado or Vegas, I would try to fill in one-offs with players from each of those teams when possible. Any listed above are viable.
Evander Kane - SJS - DK: $6300 | FD: $7400
Kane has great shot volume and Grubauer is expected to return to the Avs tonight. We've seen Grubauer become a sieve multiple times this season so I wouldn't shy away from Sharks tonight.
Tyler Toffoli - MON - DK: $6400 | FD: $6900
If you're not sold on a Montreal stack, I would look to Toffoli as a one-off with solid shot volume.
Bottom of the Barrel
Here are my cheap calls for a skater to pick up a goal or assist.
Johan Larsson: ARI - C - DK: $2500 | FD: $3300
Mason Appleton: WPG - W - DK: $3800 | FD: $3500
Brayden McNabb: VGK - D - DK: $3100 | FD: $3800
